As Art Director, I work closely with the CSO, designers, copywriters, and video producers to create effective designs and campaigns from concept to delivery. I also manage client needs and expectations through written and verbal communications, presentations, and metrics reports. I have been fortunate enough to work with many international clients, and have effectively done so despite language barriers, cultural differences, and opposing work schedules. Working with a small team has allowed me to stay involved with various aspects of every project, including research, planning, design, direction, copy writing, video production, project management, and more.
At Hawthorne Visual Communications, I was responsible for the design and preflight of print collateral ranging from 150+ page testing manuals and conference materials, to direct mailers and brochures. I was a part of the team that rebranded The College Board's AP program, and designed the brand standards guide. After proving myself as a valuable asset and team player, my responsibilities expanded to include web design and presentation design, with less direction and more autonomy.
As a Graphic Support Specialist, I worked on design and production for Consumer Source Inc. I also handled creative and production duties for several issues of the New Home Guide and Apartment Guide magazines.
As a Graphic Design Intern for the Betty Foy Sanders Dept. of Art, I worked independently and with a team to create promotional materials for the school’s gallery shows and exhibits. This included working directly with the artists, and the on campus print team to produce high quality printed materials.
